Welcome to Grant Family Wines, home of Couloir Wines, specializing in single-vineyard Pinot noir with a sense of place and time, and Straight Line Wine, offering delicious, varietal wines true to their character. Having worked with fine wine for more than 15 years, in addition to my ongoing affiliation as Assistant Winemaker with Turley Wine Cellars, I have a well-rounded background which allows me to understand the intricate correlation between the vineyard and the final bottle of wine. With this knowledge, my winemaking procedures are deliberately minimal; recognizing that the right grape, grown in the right vineyard can produce wines of great character and great expression.
